OK, I’m
very excited, as summer is closing out,
vacation season is slowly wrapping up, and
folks are buying school supplies. There
is so much anticipation in the air for LSU
football and the New Orleans Saints. We’re
ready to slog through a hot August and hope
for a cool morning at the end of September,
or October. Predictions are high for both
teams, and I’ll make my predictions
in September. But, what everyone, including
me, is really on the edge of their seats

band
beginning at 6:30pm

early, grab a seat, and
Gerard and I will take the stage at 8pm
This is my favorite show
and just a blast of silly fun, tongue in
cheek costuming, awful impersonations, karate,
Memphis Mafia security, aloha leis, backup
band chaos, sweaty leather, caped jumpsuits,
tacky shades, and all the great Elvis songs!

If you enjoy the King,
and a fun time, you don’t want to
miss this show. There is no cover charge
at Sullivan’s. They have great food,
too. There are lots of seats and a big stage,
so everyone will see everything. Russ Bryant’s
Ringside Band will be joining us on many
of the songs. Please come on out for this
yearly celebration of the beloved King of
Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley! "Thank
you.... you’re a fantastic audience"
I’ve got many private
parties again this month - I appreciate
that. I’m doing a Wednesday night
with Damon King and Charles Pierce at Cadillac
Café. Also doing a Wednesday substitution
for Kevin and Dennis at the Half Shell,
in P’ville. Matt Doran and Charles
Pierce join me at Superior Grill on Aug.
11. Toby Templet is sitting in for me at
Spanky’s on Aug. 12, as I go down
to House of Blues to see Chris Isaak, again
this year - love his music. I’ll try
to line up another date at Monjuni’s,
so be on the lookout for that. The calendar
is always changing.
No politics this month...
hehe... Just Elvis and Jesse! This is it
- this is your notification - new location,
new band, new costume for G. Can I get myself
in the leather pants? Suck it in!
